Constitution Day

The Delaware Company is sponsoring a special program for Constitution Day at the Fort. John Conway will present a brand new program entitled “Publius vs. Cato: The Philosophical Battle Over the U.S. Constitution” in which he examines the arguments put forth in favor of ratifying the Constitution by Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, and James Madison, writing as Publius, and the arguments presented against the Constitution presented by the anti-federalists writing as Cato and Brutus. The presentation begins at 1 p.m.
