The Deborah Sampson Story set for August 1
Hopefully this note finds you well and enjoying the summer. We are having a great season so far as we celebrate America’s Semiquincentennial at Fort Delaware Museum of Colonial History in Narrowsburg, NY, and the best is yet to come. At Fort Delaware, we live history!

We are very excited about the next event on our schedule, which will take place at the Narrowsburg Union, 7 Erie Avenue in Narrowsburg, on Saturday evening, August 1.
Thanks to our sponsors, we are able to bring back History at Play’s Judith Kalaora to Sullivan County for a reprise of her one woman play, “A Revolution of Her Own: The Deborah Sampson Story” at the Narrowsburg Union. This program is free, but pre-registration is required. You may pre-register by emailing me with the number of seats you would like to reserve.
The evening will begin with a brief introduction at 7 PM, followed by the performance, and then a Q&A with Judith. It should be a fun time.
We should also mention that on Saturday, September 19, we will celebrate Constitution Day (a bit late) by screening the movie version of the phenomenal musical, “Hamilton” at the Narrowsburg Union, also for free. Details on this will be forthcoming.
And, of course, there is plenty to do at Fort Delaware, located on the Upper Delaware Scenic Byway at 6615 Route 97 in Narrowsburg, NY. We are open from 10 AM to 5 PM Thursday thru Sunday in July and August, and weekends only after Labor Day until the middle of October.
