The Delaware Company is now hiring costumed interpreters for seasonal employment at Fort Delaware for about 32 hours per week from April thru October. An educational background in history is preferred, but not required. Some skill in 18th century crafts such as spinning, weaving, armaments, woodworking, blacksmithing, etc. is a plus. Clothing and training will be provided.
The Fort is open from Thursday thru Sunday, plus Monday holidays, so the willingness and availability to work weekends and holidays (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day) is a must.
